Where can I do an apprenticeship?

At around 150 training companies, including some in your area.

What does the working day look like?

In the morning, the material is prepared and then you drive to the construction site with the team. How long assembly and installation takes will depend on the size of the project, but it will be between one week and one month.

I'm afraid of heights, is that a problem?

Respect for height is important up on a roof. However, the use of scaffolding and other safety precautions should be enough to allay your fears. in a relevant company.The best way to find out what it's like is to sign up for a taster day with a relevant company.

Will I learn how to commission a solar system?

During the three-year apprenticeship to become a Solar Installer EFZ, you do actually learn how to do this, but in the two-year apprenticeship to become a Solar Fitter EBA you first learn how to install it.

Can I do the vocational baccalaureate?

Yes. If you do well at school, you can even do this during your apprenticeship. It's best to discuss this directly with your training company.
